(Between bringing back Nikki & Nora… and the Veronica Mars movie… it’s like an epic win for fandom. If I’m dreaming, don’t wake me up.)

The N&N Files indiegogo fundraising campaign ended late Monday night… overwhelmingly surpassing the original goal to come in just over $65,000. What an amazing outpouring of support from fans & friends. Impressive and inspiring!

But if somehow you missed out on this momentous event. Maybe you’ve been away, maybe you’ve been busy, or maybe you just didn’t come into any extra funds in time. Well, take heart! This will teach me, once again, not to get worked up before actually watching the episode for myself.

I didn’t see any romantic Myka & Pete interactions. And I was prepared for it. But all that I saw were two people who love each other as partners, family, and best friends. Of course, Pete loves Myka. Of course, Myka loves Pete. But I didn’t see any flickering of romantic interest between them.

Good episode actually. Sweet, really. Myka seemed a little out-of-character, but I just put that down to the Reset ripples. (And that she’s having HG withdrawals.)

Not to see you guys throw a fit every episode and scream at the writers WHEN THEY HAVE ALREADY SAID H.G. WILL BE COMING BACK.

Exactly. These eps have long been in the can. Bitching won’t change what is already done. Personally, I believe it’s been set up this way for a reason… which will eventually be revealed and all will make sense.

My worry is that if the writers are getting similar doses of all this foot-stomping and disparagement, then they’ll be less inclined to continue this lovely little facet of the show. Because most shows would never have nurtured this ship at all. So, as much as I would love to watch hours of Bering & Wells… I know that Myka/HG is a privilege, not a right that I get to demand. And I’m along for the whole ride.
